According to the passage, Tomonosuke (1st generation) who founded MASAMOTO was born on year 1845 and he devoted all his life (47 years) for learning and making kitchen knives. His goal that he had always thought about and said to people was " I decided to make kitchen knife in my life, I want to make best knife and my name remains for people in future."

Now his goal  completely comes true. Through 5 generations of making kitchen knife and traditional soul have made best knife and best brand name.
